Basingstoke and Deane Natural Environment Forum

The principal objective of the forum is:

To promote the management of a sustainable and quality natural environment for Basingstoke & Deane

The forum aims to:

  • collate, assess and share information on the status of the natural environment and current relevant activities;
  • help direct and co-ordinate community initiatives to deliver environmental improvements in line with relevant strategies and plans;
  • facilitate improved communication of information and dissemination of good practice across relevant organisations;
    facilitate improved partnership working to make better use of resources;
  • influence the Community Strategy and other relevant strategies and plans; and
  • raise awareness on relevant environmental issues and promote actions within the Forum and with other organisations

Membership

Membership is open to any organisation that is actively contributing to the principal objective of the forum.  Each organisation is normally represented by one nominated individual.

Meetings

The forum currently meets three times a year.  For dates of future meetings, please check the LSP calendar.
